Flu and Covid Vaccinations – Autumn 2025
For those who are eligible, we will shortly be inviting you for your annual flu and Covid vaccinations. Those with a mobile phone will receive a text message with a link to book an appointment.
For autumn 2025, the COVID-19 booster will no longer be routinely offered to patients aged 65 to 74.
The updated eligibility now includes:
• Adults aged 75 and over
• Residents in care homes for older adults
• Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
This change reflects updated guidance from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), which aims to focus protection on those at highest risk of serious illness.
